MY STORY

How it began...

I have always been fascinated with photography.  I started with my parents Brownie Camera as a child, and I bought my first camera when I was 17... with money I earned and saved.  I took my Canon with me everywhere, and it became my most important accessory.  It was all about film back then, so I would not see my results until weeks or sometimes months later....

Flash forward to today. Over 40 years later and through countless technological changes, we are all taking more pictures than ever! Photography has never been more affordable or more instantaneous.

I recognized a need to help people understand their digital cameras, how to transfer their digital images from their camera or phones onto their computers and how to organize digital images so they can pass down their memories and tell their life story.

The workshops show clients how to make art for their walls, create gifts for others, and celebrate milestones. I also help others sort, organize and identify photos, slides and digital images. I have  professional high speed scanning equipment to scan your old photos and slides into digital form.

When I'm not working, you'll find me photographing people (particularly children), birds, bugs, flowers and anything in nature. Setting up a macro shot is my new favorite past time.
